- The National Hard Crab Derby: Every Labor Day Weekend, over 60 years in existence
- The Gov. J. Millard Tawes Crab and Clam Bake: Every 3rd Wednesday in July, over 30 years in existence
- Freedom Fest: Every 4th of July, a new event in 2009
